STEAM REGULATOR

The Model POSR-1 is primarily a pilot operated steam regulator. The
external pilot valve is supplied from a main valve body tapped connection. Sizes are 1/2", 3/4" and 1" (DN15, 20 and 25). Handles pressure drops up to 200 psi (13.8 Bar) with adjustable outlet pressures between 5 and 150 psig (.34 and 10.3 Barg). Also available without the pilot as a pressure loaded steam regulator. The pilot uses a bellows as a frictionless seal for the pilot valve plug. It was incorporated to ensure that the pilot maintains its sensitivity and smooth operation in older steam systems that are chemically treated and systems that are used intermittently.

The steam regulator model C-CS* is a 316L SST self-contained pressure
reducing regulator designed primarily for steam control in sanitary
biotechnological process piping systems. The unit is capable of controlling outlet pressure between 10-75 psig (.69-5.2 Barg) with a maximum inlet pressure of 150 psig (10.3 Barg). This steam regulator is used in pharmaceutical industry in production of many health care products for both human and animal consumption. Widely applied for processed food production – candy, beverages, nutritional supplements and artificial sweeteners. The steam regulator may also be used in cosmetics production and specialty chemicals and they would be found supporting fermenters, batching tanks, cookers, dryers, SIP systems, autoclaves, sterilizers, WFI systems and other similar equipment. Though designed primarily for “clean steam” service, the model C-CS steam regulator will give satisfactory performance on clean gaseous or liquid applications.
