ROTARY VALVE

A rotary valve is a valve style in which the FLOW CLOSURE MEMBER is
rotated in the flow stream to modify the amount of fluid passing through the valve. 

The Ranger QCT is a rotary valve with a pneumatic
spring-diaphragm actuator. It can be supplied with either a
flanged or flangeless body style. This rotary design provides excellent service life in a wide range of applications. Its most unique design feature
centers around its Quick Change Trim – QCT. This concept provides front access to the rotary valve body, allowing use of various lo-noise inserts, abrasion sleeve or alternate frontend seal retainers. Also, combinations of these features can be utilized to meet specific application needs.
The Ranger is the most user friendly rotary control valve in the marketplace when it comes to maintenance. It takes a mere five minutes to change trim when out of the pipeline and requires no recalibration.

MODEL 9000R PNEUMATIC POSITIONER FOR rotary valveS:
Model 9000R is the standard pneumatic (P/P) positioner for Cashco's Models 48,148 and 148X actuators used with the Ranger QCT and Premier control rotary valve products. The 9000R is a single acting force-balance pneumatic positioner that is used to provide valve stem motion feedback and to characterize a rotary valve's motion vs. input signal. Characterization of the valve is accomplished attachment of a formed cam to a rotary valve 's stem. As the valve's stem rotates, the positioner's range spring causes output loading air pressure to be either passed to the actuator vessel, or be vented into the enclosed arm housing's internals. This unique venting location purges air routinely, and minimizes corrosive effects due to moisture and dilute hostile chemicals found ambient air.

MODEL 9540R PNEUMATIC POSITIONER FOR A rotary valve:
Model 9540R is a single acting, compact, force-balance, 90° rotary positioner. This positioner is utilized to characterize the relationship between valve stem rotational position and the systemtic control signal, and to precisely position the valve stem. An internal 2-gauge cluster indicating input signal and output loading pressures is standard with this positioner. To be appiled with Cashco Ranger QCT, Premier EZO and Premier stem control rotary valve.
